Bacchus Marsh Partnership

In 2024, Inform & Empower and the Community Bank of Bacchus Marsh began a 3-year partnership involving all 8 local primary schools. The bank has agreed to fund incursions for every primary school student in Bacchus Marsh and seminars for their parents and carers

Digital safety online is a relatively new and developing issue for our community and communities around the world and “Inform and Empower” is the solution we chose to educate our community on the risks, the issues and the fundamentals to help our young and their carers navigate all things Cyber Safety & Digital Wellbeing.

We have invested close to 2 million dollars in our community over the past 10 years in numerous clubs and organisations and this program is the best example of an intergenerational program that will have long lasting impacts for young people, their teachers and their carers.

The public forum was a real eye opener for many parents and carers that attended. The information was confronting but the resources and solutions provided were really helpful and key to parents and carers navigating this new reality. The teachers really get involved in the classroom incursions with the students and the feedback from the schools has been very positive. The students are engaged with the age specific curriculum and the interactive delivery of the online incursions.

We are very proud to be able to deliver this program into all of our primary schools in 3340 and build resilient members of our community for many years to come.
