Thrive Online incursion includes:

Age relevant content (choose between Gr 3/4 or 5/6)

Australian & Victorian curriculum aligned
We believe that a single incursion does that constitute comprehensive cyber safety and digital citizenship education. To support, scaffold and build upon the content in Thrive Online, we highly recommend schools utilise the free lesson plans, teacher resources and student online game (Interland) available through Google's Be Internet Awesome.
Key Understandings for Students
Be Smart
Being internet smart encourages students to be aware of what they post online, what apps are age appropriate and how crucial it is to consider that the internet is public and permanent. Internet smarts also explores the impact of excessive gaming on both the individual and their relationships.
Be Kind
With so much personal data stored online, we explore practical strategies to keep accounts secure and strong- including passwords, location settings and two factor authentication.
Be Brave
Being brave online is a crucial personality trait when encountering unkind behaviours directed either towards you or as a bystander. We explore strategies for getting your power back in the face of adversity as well as steps to deal with cyber bullying.
Be Alert
We’re all aware that the internet is full of ‘fake’. Through a range of scenarios we immerse students in phishing emails, misleading terms of service, unsecure websites and more.
Be Strong
