Digital Safety & Wellbeing
is taught in primary schools
participate in engaging, interactive live streamed incursions every term.
are provided with optional lesson ideas and follow up activities.
are given an overview of each session to help open up important conversations.
Our incursions inform and empower learners to be more aware, clever, kind and brave online citizens.
These four keystones underpin all of our teaching and learning.
I found this Cyber Safety Webinar quite captivating! I really enjoyed learning about the different keys and tips about how they are able to keep you engaged in apps!
I learnt about the infinite scroll and algorithm as well as how it purposely suggests videos and apps for a perfect fit for you. Things like Snap Streaks and notifications were quite fascinating to think about how they can remind you to get onto the app everyday and make sure you don't miss out on a day!
I think having a balanced "diet" of screen time and green time is
a great way to look at it as well as reminding ourselves that
what we post online is permanent and possibly public.
Year 5 Student
Join Ollie, Marty & their new friend Ruby as they begin their online adventures. Whilst Ollie loves his iPad and gaming we are quick to discover that he has a lot to learn...just like our Year 1/2 students!
Animations and augmented reality help tell the story of our young adventurers online. Each character we meet encounters a new challenge with so much to help inform and empower our Year 3/4 students.
Immersed in realistic scenarios, students in Year 5/6 are challenged to reflect more deeply about their online experiences. Preparing them to thrive in an online world involves being aware. clever, brave and kind.
In their first year of school, students are introduced to Ollie & Marty through a series of short videos. We cover the basics of getting started with devices and getting online.
On-demand format for our Foundation Students
Videos & resources designed specifically for Foundation classes
No live streams, all resources available to watch and/or print "on-demand"
